Thanks for visiting 4Throws.com  Here are some extra details to help you in choosing the correct javelin for your throwers.

Our 4throws Silver Series javelins are our #1 selling item in our entire store.  These javelins are produced for us by an experienced factory in China.  They are manufactured with high-quality aircraft grade tempered aluminum and have a moderate level of flex, which is perfect for beginners to intermediate throwers.  These javelins are built to meet all IAAF or NFHS specifications.  We weigh and inspect every single javelin before we ship it.

In rough terms, these javelins are perfect for girls up to 130 ft, and guys up to about 180 feet.  Beyond these distances, especially for competition, throwers should consider moving up to a stiffer javelin, like the Polanik Air Flyer, or Sky Challenger.  For Elite Throwers, the Polanik Space Master or the Polanik Elite Carbon Fiber javelins would be best.  We also sell every make of javelin out there:  Gill, OTE, Pacer, Nemeth, Cantabrian, Nordic etc, but we import 4Throws and Polanik javelins ourselves directly from the respective factories and this offers you the very best savings.

For High School Throwers, Rubber Tipped Javelins are required for High Schools in the following States:  Alabama, New Jersey, North Dakota, and Washington.

Rubber-Tipped Javelins are NOT allowed for USATF (summer) competitions.

METER-RATINGS

Our 800g Silver Series javelins are designed for 55-60 Meters.  Our 600g Silver Series are designed for 40-45 Meters.

600g POLANIK Javelins are rated as follows
